Home insurance policyholders in Thornbury may have been pleased to hear that four teenagers have been arrested after a burglary.Officers reprimanded three 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old in response to a garage break in where a Fiat Cinquecento was stolen.The house on Hamble Close was targeted at about 03:00 BST on Tuesday June 29th and the arrests were made within a few minutes, the police confirm.Neighbourhood Sergeant Louise Boyce said: "We have been targeting our patrols in the Thornbury area in response to a recent rise in thefts from sheds and garages."She urged residents to mark their property and register it with an online database to help officers reunite items with their owners should they be recovered following a crime.People have also been reminded to keep their tools and ladders locked away to prevent them being used as implements to break into a house or outbuilding.Posted by Victor OnuohaeApply online for your home insurance with UIA and you can save up to 15%.
