Turkish property 'an attractive option for Brits'
Anyone looking to purchase property overseas might be interested in visiting Turkey due to the growing number of high-quality properties on sale in the country, one industry expert has advised.
Elisabeth Dobson, head of private clients at World First, said that the cost of daily life in the country is actually cheaper than living in the UK and there has been a boom in developments in Turkey over recent years.
Those looking to visit Turkey on a frequent basis might wish to invest in an annual travel insurance policy to reduce the cost of regular trips outside the UK.">
Ms Dobson commented: "There is access to historical and cultural things and a lot going on. Turkey is popular with people who are looking for a lot more than cheap beer and discos."
According to the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 1.75 million tourists entered Turkey in April 2009 compared to 1.65 million in April 2008 - an increase of 6.21 per cent - highlighting the country's growing popularity.
