Two holidays per year 'could boost' travel insurance customers' happiness
UK consumers looking for the best ways to boost their happiness levels might want to check their travel insurance policy and jet off on two holidays abroad each year.
That is if research from Yeo Valley is anything to go by - the dairy product manufacturer has revealed that a pair of overseas trips and three weekend breaks contribute to the most enjoyable lifestyle.
Indeed, tourists looking to get the most out of excursions could do well to take the advice of Tamzin Caffrey, head of marketing, press and publishing at the National Centre for Languages, who said learning the local tongue while abroad can help visitors understand the culture and make new friends in a destination.
However, a spokesman for Yeo Valley explained that spending a lot of money does not necessarily make people happier, stating: "Small treats like takeaways, nights out or the odd weekend away can keep the spark in a relationship."
